What we do
2507 (Bicester) Squadron offers a broad range of engaging activities locally, with further progressive opportunities available through Oxfordshire Sector, Thames Valley Wing, Region and National RAF Air Cadets events.
Activity levels
Cadets start with regular Squadron training and can then access higher-level courses, camps, competitions and specialist activities as they progress. Availability can vary by staffing, qualifications, transport, weather and RAFAC programme dates.

Space studies, satellites, rocketry, RAF and defence space capability, and STEM-linked learning.
Cyber awareness, computer networking, programming concepts, online safety and cyber security activities.
First aid, radio, leadership, drill, sport, music, ceremonial standards, teamwork and communication.
Expeditions, hill walking, navigation, Duke of Edinburgh's Award, mountain biking, paddlesport, climbing and other outdoor challenges.
Target shooting, fieldcraft, survival skills, visits to military units, annual camps and ceremonial events.
Weekend activities and longer camps at RAF stations, training centres and sometimes overseas opportunities.
Progressive training syllabus badges, specialist activity badges and recognition for cadets as they build confidence, skills and experience.
Start with the basics
Once enrolled into training, cadets work through initial first class training and learn the core skills they need before taking on wider activities.
Air Cadet activities are delivered safely by qualified staff and approved RAFAC processes. Some activities depend on age, training stage, medical consent, weather or external programme availability.
